Role Overview
As an Outbound Lead Generation Intern, you will support our B2B sales pipeline by identifying potential customers, researching organizations, and initiating outreach to global decision-makers (CIOs, CTOs, CISOs, IT Heads, DevOps Managers, and Security Architects).
This is ideal for someone who wants to learn enterprise sales, outbound prospecting, lead qualification, and communication strategy in a real cybersecurity SaaS environment.
You will work directly with the founders and the marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
1. Prospect Research & Target Identification
- Identify potential enterprise leads in the U.S., EMEA, and APAC markets.
- Research companies using LinkedIn, Crunchbase, Google, and security reports.
- Build ICP-aligned lead lists (Information Security, DevOps, PKI, Infra teams).
2. Outbound Outreach
- Execute cold email sequences.
- Conduct LinkedIn outreach and connection requests.
- Follow up with prospects in a structured manner.
- Maintain outreach consistency across daily/weekly targets.
3. Lead Qualification
- Identify whether prospects fit our problem-solution model.
- Evaluate pain points related to SSL/SSH/PKI operations.
- Shortlist high-potential leads for founders and technical team.
- Document buyer persona and engagement patterns.
4. CRM & Pipeline Management
- Update lead details in CRM (HubSpot / Notion / Google Sheets).
- Track outreach status.
- Maintain clean and well-organized lead pipelines.
5. Collaboration & Reporting
- Coordinate with marketing and content teams.
- Share feedback on messaging, ICP fit, and engagement.
- Provide daily and weekly outreach reports.
- Suggest improvements in scripts, templates, and personas.
Requirements
- Strong spoken and written English.
- Confidence in communicating with global professionals.
- Curiosity about cybersecurity, SaaS, and B2B tech.
- Ability to research effectively and think analytically.
- Comfortable with consistent cold outreach.
- High ownership, discipline, and reliability.
- Ability to work in U.S. or EMEA-aligned hours when required.
Preferred (Not Mandatory)
- Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator
- Prior outbound / sales exposure
- Understanding of cybersecurity or IT infrastructure
- Knowledge of CRM tools
