Azure Key Vault

Overview

QCecuring integrates with Azure Key Vault to provide centralized governance over certificates and keys stored in Microsoft’s cloud-based HSM and secrets management service. This enables security teams to enforce consistent policies across hybrid environments while leveraging Azure’s FIPS 140-2 validated infrastructure.

High-level integration flow

1. Register QCecuring as a service principal with appropriate Key Vault access policies or RBAC roles.
2. The platform discovers certificates, keys, and secrets metadata across configured vaults.
3. Assets are normalized into QCecuring’s inventory with ownership, environment, and policy tagging.
4. Lifecycle workflows handle renewal, rotation, and revocation based on organizational policies.
5. Dashboards provide unified reporting across Azure Key Vault and other connected key stores.
